From a historical viewpoint, the textile industry has always been an area of environmental risk. Throughout the 20th century, growing industrial production not only moved the global economy forward but also caused serious damage to the environment of our planet. This cannot keep going on forever.
Togas Innovations is constantly looking for new alternatives to already known materials and processes in order to minimize our impact on the environment. We are committed to pursuing more environmentally friendly production methods and exploring innovative ways to utilize and recycle products.

We are working on reducing our environmental impact by focusing on renewable energy, water conservation, and more.
99,5 %production
We only use organic solvents in the production of Sensotex® products. At least 99.5% of these solvents are reused, which makes the production practically waste-free. Sensotex®, the eucalyptus fiber that is used in the production, is also biodegradable.
30 %The production of one kilogram of Sensotex® fiber utilizes 30% less water than the production of cotton or cellulose. Besides, we are currently working on expanding the use of renewable energy sources.
20 %conservation
We have reduced energy consumption in the production of eucalyptus and the fiber used for Togas products. By doing so, we use 20% less energy and focus on utilizing renewable resources instead of non-renewable ones.

Prints have played an important role in the history of Togas, and we are still very proud of our printed catalogs and booklets. However, we try to minimize the number of printed materials by replacing them with digital sources of information. Whenever it is not possible, we use recycled paper and paper from sustainably managed forests and controlled sources. Of course, all our paper materials are also 100% recyclable.

We understand that any business, as it develops, must take on more and more responsibility for those who need help and support more than others.
Many small charitable organizations and individuals with requests for support get in contact with us, and we try to consider 100% of such requests. We at Togas supply homeless shelters with textile products, support animal welfare organizations financially and work with large families with multiple kids by filling their homes with our products.
A list of organizations and charity events we collaborate with includes The American Red Cross Ball, Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation USA, Breast Cancer Foundation, and many more.

Responsibility at Togas is manifested not only through caring for the environment, but also through caring for the employees, in boutiques, offices, and production sites.
A transparent and fair salary is the basis of a healthy business in today’s society. We constantly make sure that all Togas employees, regardless of their corporate level, receive timely pay per current market conditions and inflation rates.
We comply with all laws of the Labor code of all the countries we operate in terms of working hours and conditions at the workplace.
We set clear and transparent performance indicators for additional motivation. We make sure that these indicators are achievable and do not create additional stress.
All Togas employees undergo comprehensive training, both at the company’s Academy and through various external training programs by the industry leaders all over the world.

An increase in external purchasing could potentially be a factor in mistreating the employees, that is why we constantly evaluate our methods of doing business with suppliers by not setting unrealistic deadlines or creating unnecessary stress.
